The Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium is an inspirational educational program developed by the Pachamama Alliance in response to the accelerating degradation of our planet.
These programs explore and generate action in fulfillment of the following vision:
- To bring forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just human presence on this planet.
High levels of consumption of natural resources, especially here in the U.S., are leading to the extinction of thousands of plant and animal species, as well as threatening our very life support systems. Most experts agree we are headed for disaster. Yet, this terrifying reality rarely gets mention in the daily news cycle, and was never even brought up during our last presidential election. It is as if we are living inside of a dream, sleepwalking toward oblivion.
